Presents for my mother-in-law and new listings.

I was recently commissioned by my mother-in-law to make 2 custom bracelets. A tall, thin, and absolutely lovely woman, she needs smaller bracelets and is always looking for my most unique styles. I believe she now owns Obsession, Daisy Chain, Simplicity Bracelets, a black Sweet Decadence necklace, and a white snowflake pendant. She also has two of my first fiber art pieces including a ribbon embroidery embellished photo album and a small framed work in spring colors.

Together we collaborated on a color scheme for my new Twine design. Olive colored cordonnet, gold satin and shiny glass Swarovski pearls, copper Czech glass rounds and dark gold Czech glass seeds with a sheer gold organdy base.

The small leaves will turn up in this design giving it the appearance of a small vine around your wrist. This is the original design in a medium leaf green and black color scheme. It measures 8″ long and about 1.5″ wide. You can find it in my shop, Snappy Tatter, here.

She also fell in love with my Serpentine design. Unsure of which colors she loved best, I surprised her by making two. One in the original colors she saw and a special one in a new blue variegated and royal blue cordonnet with dark green-blue glass. The black one has an autumn variegated cord with dark amber beading and can be found for sale here. It measures about 7.5″ long.

As you may know by now, I love creating designs inspired by the flora around me. A new Birch leaf pendant has been listed in my shop. This time I used dark charcoal cord and pewter Czech glass. It measures 1.75″ long and 1.25″ wide and is suspended by a 16″ Italian leather hoop necklace with gunmetal jewelry components. You can find more pictures and the full listing here.

Three new earring listings are now available in my shop as well. All are made with black cordonnet, Sterling jewelry components and silver glass pearls. You can click the photo to find more photos and full descriptions.

And before I go…I want to let all my peeps know that I have deactivated all labor intensive Made to Order listings in my shop temporarily. I am working on a couple of custom orders that are rather extensive and have an upcoming deadline for the presentation portion of my book. Small Made to Order items are still listed but production may be delayed a couple of days. There is just not enough Snappy Tatter to go around! Stay tuned to my Facebook Page to find out when Made to Order listings are back online.

Have a good one everyone!
