Snappy Tatter Spring e-Newsletter is here!

A couple of weeks ago the Spring 2014 edition of my e-Newsletter came out. I’m sharing the information below. The coupon code at the bottom is for all e-Newsletter subscribers, Blog and Facebook followers. So feel free to use it to purchase items in my Etsy shop, Snappy Tatter. I don’t always share e-Newsletters and the coupon codes here so if you would like to insure that you will get a copy, please send your email address to with a note that you would like to join. My e-Newsletter comes out every couple of months or whenever I have something special to say but not more than once a month so you will not be bombarded by Snappy Tatter. 🙂 I promise.

~Snappy Tatter Spring 2014 e-Newsletter~

Greetings everyone! I have been busy over here in Snappy Tatter-land! Time for me to check in and let everyone know what is and will be happening. Between gardening and stitching there has been little time.

First, I will be attending the annual New Castle ArtFest this year. It will be held at the Cascade Riverplex on Friday, July 11th, from 4pm-8pm and Saturday, July 12th, from 11am-8pm. The festival has been renamed the “New Castle Art & Fireworks Festival and is presented by the Hoyt Center for the Arts. Visit this link for all the information on activities for everyone, young and older. Mark you calendars!

I just celebrated 5 years in business for Snappy Tatter! To celebrate I have created a special limited time category in my online shop, Snappy Tatter, where selected items are 20% off. The price is already reduced so the sale can be used in conjunction with any coupon codes that are available. Anniversary Sale Section

I am writing the history of Snappy Tatter for everyone to enjoy on my blog, Snappy Tatter-land. It will be written in several parts as I find the time to talk about how Snappy Tatter first came about and evolved into what it is today. The first installment is posted. Come read and view old photos of how it all started!

I have new fiber art works! I have been really busy creating which is why there is such a delay in this e-Newsletter. That’s a good thing. I am working on a tremendous free-hand embroidery piece that is un-named so far. Describing it as a face with wild hair on fire does not do it justice so visit this post to see my progress:  I have created a new tatted Garden Watch and have two more in the works now. I also have a new Couture floral necklace design in black and shades of red and peach called Spanish Gala. These two designs can be found in the J Kohr Couture section of my shop. I am also working on another free-hand embroidery of a monochromatic blue rose that glows. Progress photos are shown on my Facebook page.

FYI…Snappy Couture has been renamed J Kohr Couture! Catchy, huh!

How about everyone enjoys an exclusive discount for awhile? Use the coupon code “SNAPPYANNIVERSARY” for $15 off your purchase of $75 or more*. Coupon code is available until 6/30.

Keep up with what is happening on my blog and Facebook page where I post progress photos, photos of work that will be available at the Arts Festival, new listings in my Etsy shop and bits about my life as a fiber artist living in a small town.

I hope everyone enjoys the flowers and sunshine!

Live, Love, Tat!
