A Bouquet with a new twist

In 2010 I had been in business for a year on Etsy and was really getting into creating original shuttle tatted jewelry designs. Bouquet was the first of many bib style necklaces that were floral in design. The picture above shows the original design in black with Czech glass beading in black, pewter and gunmetal. I fell in love with it, and it sold fast!

Recently, I decided to revisit some of my previous designs and recreated Bouquet in silver cordonnet with Czech glass aurora borealis beading and Swarovski crystal pearls. I also added an additional round on the center design to give it a frilly look. I love how feminine this design is. It is tatted in 5 connecting pieces and the beading is hand sewn into the final structure of lace.

The necklace is finished with silver organdy ribbon and silver jewelry findings for a polished look. It measures 18″ long with a 2.5″ extension chain for the perfect fit, and the tatting measures 4.5″ across. It is listed in my Etsy shop right here. The original version can be remade, too. Coming up is a surprise that is life changing so stay tuned. (Hint-we are going on a new adventure.) New work will be showcased too!

Live, Love, Tat!

Jennifer
