Bracelets, bracelets, bracelets and NEW Cube Cuff

I was busy making new jewelry when I was struck with pneumonia recently! I was laid up for a couple of weeks but am doing much better now. I am sore from withdrawing from steroids though. My skin feels like it is bruised all over. Anyhoo-I found the time to get down to my huge studio and take pictures of the bracelets I finished a few weeks ago with my new lighting system. My photos are turning out perfectly with little editing needed. It saves so much time to get the photos right the first time.

Introducing the NEW Cube Cuff! Shuttle tatted in light blue and a variegated cordonnet that transitions from blues to greens, this design is simple but labor intensive to create. Rings and chains make repeating squares and an outside edge chain adds stability so the shape will be retained perfectly. I also hand beaded rows of tiny green Aurora Borealis coated seed beads between the cubes for a subtle sparkle. Shuttle-tatting is s knotted lace technique that is very durable making this cuff wearable for years. You can find this beautiful cuff in my Etsy shop through the link under the photo.

And there’s more! I completed 5 more bracelets and they are available in my Etsy shop now. First I have a new version of the Chantilly cuff available in charcoal gray with a large Hematite accent bead. Chantilly is one of the first designs I created years ago. It has been sold many times over since the beginning. I wear one in black with no beads.

Another early design that I have made over an over is called Effervescence. I made one in soft shell pink with glass beads. I love the color! Delicate looking but every bit as durable as any lacework I make.

AND Obsession is the third wide cuff design I created years ago. Currently it is available in 3 listings in my shop. There is a black one with Hematite beading, a charcoal gray one with Hematite tubes shown below and there is a custom listing where you can choose your favorite color and length.

I have made a new Halo bracelet with smaller rings and 4mm glass pearls in silver. It’s a modest and simple design. I can totally see a bride or bridesmaid wearing this for the bride’s special day. I always welcome bridal work and have created custom designs for bride’s, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride or groom. I have made ornate sets of jewelry for the whole party and have made simple earrings or a bracelet for a one-of-a-kind accessory.

Finally, another new design has been created. I made one in charcoal for my BFF’s birthday. And then I recreated it with fewer beads in go-with-everthing navy. The glass beads are matte with shiny matching seed beads between. It is called “Elegant Infinity” and is based on my simpler Infinity pattern. I have been wanting to expand my bracelet selection lately and adding Cube and Elegant Infinity to my collection of private patterns expands what I have available.

That’s it for now! Next I am working on earrings and will post a gallery of what I have made here. I inherited some wonderful gems, crystals and stones from Jay’s sister and am excited to incorporate them into my work for one-of-a-kind creations you won’t find anywhere else!

Live, Love, Tat!
